Lights Up in Baysie
About the Initiative
'Lights Up in Baysie' was our Christmas lights campaign, held in 2019 and 2020.
To spread some Christmas cheer, bring people to the town centre, and encourage support for our local businesses, we encouraged businesses on King William Street to decorate their shopfronts for the festive season.
The Baysie Rollers provided fairy lights and Christmas wreaths, supported by funding from the City of Bayswater and local business, Design Merchants.
To encourage businesses to bring their A-game with the decorating, we even made it a competition! The publicly-voted first place went to Drip Expresso in 2019, and Just For Me Beauty Salon in 2020. Congratulations!
